Is it just monday blues?

Recently, it seems that a few of my friends are experiencing depression. so i wrote a piece this morning, and i thought it might come in handy for you too when you need a boost.

I just wanna shout out to everyone who is experiencing a little dip at the low point in their lives:

Depression is something you can get over with. With the support of people who love and care for you , you still need to make the first step to slowly crawl out of that dark corner. TOWARDS the light. Towards the BRIGHT. I know it is difficult, but YOU are the ONLY who can help yourself come through at the end of each day. REMIND yourself that you are loved, and think of all the things you love and enjoy in life. Use that as a fuel to help you move forward. UNDERSTAND yourself and what it is that you bring you to that dip in the first place will help you dust away the OLD HABITS and welcome new challenges. Find a spark in life that excites you. Take that as a starting point and build the momentum from there; ALL you NEED is a little spark to build a bonfire. Don't ever lose that momentum once you find it. The only true way to recover is to move a step forward EVERYDAY. It does not matter whether it is a big step or baby step, you just need to MOVE forward EVERYDAY.

If you love to go for a wander in the mountain, do; if you love to sing karaoke out of tune, do; Don't stop doing what you once enjoyed. Life is full of possibilities. ALL you need to do is turn from the dark corner you are ONCE so comfortable with, and walk to another corner of opportunities and serenity. You will be amazed to see how many exciting things are happening on the other side of the road.

You are good enough. But you can be better in whatever you do. Sketch a PLAN of HOW you can make IT happen. Being a human being has the advantages of thinking, analyzing and plan for our futures. IT is NEVER too late to learn or change. Give yourself a pat on the shoulder and tell yourself that you have lived through all the obstacles in life so far and you are still standing! Good or bad, it is all part of the experience and you always can learn something from each of it. EMBRACE all of it, and be better than you were yesterday.

START A SPARK. BUILD. MOVE FORWARD.

I am not writing this to a specific someone, but if my words echo your feelings, I hope they help you through your difficult times. You are never alone.

See a brighter star. Live a better day.
